- Publication of the Scottish Executive’s consultation on the new vetting and barring scheme
- What areas of work should be regulated under the act?
- How is the system of vetting and barring expected to work?
- What are the cost implications for organisations affected?
- How and over what period should members of the regulated workforce be brought into membership of the scheme?
- Should checks be retrospective, and if so, how will this be done?
- How should we strike a balance between protecting vulnerable groups and over regulation
